Consider joining Mosaic Community Homes (formally Metro Community Housing and Now Mosaic Community Homes) volunteer Board of Directors. 

We are a charitable organization based in HRM with a mission to provide supportive homes and community for individuals living with mental wellness challenges. Most of our services are delivered through supported housing arrangements in staffed community based homes and apartments located in HRM. Services are also delivered within a Community Transition House and a Residential Care Facility, both located in Dartmouth. 

Our organization and our sector as a whole is undergoing a transformation directed by the Nova Scotia Human Rights Remedy For Systemic Discrimination Against Nova Scotians with Disabilities over the next several years.  We are looking to embrace these changes with enthusiasm and professional oversight. 

Mosaic Community Homes has been providing service to our community since 1974. 

We are seeking new Board members who:

Are committed to community based programs for persons experiencing mental health difficulties.
Will commit time for board meetings, sub-committee work and strategic planning sessions.
Work well in a team environment and willing to contribute their voice to a cause
Are willing to publicly share their affiliation with the organization (e.g. share upcoming fundraising event information)
