We are currently seeking an experienced Human Resources Advisor or an Human Resources professional that is ready to take the leap into employee and labour relations. As the Human Resources Advisor, you will be responsible for providing proactive and just in time human resources consultation, recommendations and services to CapitalCare leaders. You will be working out of our campuses with your focus on employee labour relations, collective agreement interpretation and support in recruiting and workforce planning initiatives.
As a part of the larger Human Resources Team, you will be responsible for providing advice, interpretations and recommendations, researching initiatives, information gathering and committee participation within a team environment. You will work with a high degree of independence and in collaboration with your Human Resources Manager to plan and implement human resource processes that complement related policies, legislation & collective agreements.

Requirements
Qualifications:
Education
- A recognized post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources Management or a degree in Commerce with an HR focus is required.
Experience
- Two years' recent Human Resources generalist experience with a focus on multiple roles within the Human Resources discipline is required.
- Skilled at legislation, labour relation processes and best practice, with an emphasis on coaching and problem solving.
- Direct experience working within a unionized environment is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience interviewing and candidate selection processes knowledge is required.
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
